Simple and Versatile
This easy honey lemon dressing is only 3 simple ingredients: honey, lemon, and a pinch of salt. I like to use fresh lemon juice as it just seems much brighter than the pasteurized containers.
You might wonder why I add a pinch of salt. Salt wakes up the flavors and makes them shine. In addition to the dressing being easy to make, it’s quick and versatile.
This simple dressing works well with fruit salads like my red pear and Gorgonzola cheese salad. Try this dressing on your favorite green salad or even on your favorite roasted vegetables.
The possibilities of this dressing are truly limitless. It serves as a good base to build upon. Try adding a little Dijon mustard or fresh herbs to make this a more complex dressing and add another layer of flavor.
