Okay, what is this trend?

This recipe needs to be made by anyone who loves coffee! No matter where you scroll, you will keep seeing this new fluffy dalgona coffee trend.
Dalgona coffee is inspired by a South Korean candy, dalgona. The candy is a toffee sponge that mimics the dreamy dollop of airy caffeine that you see across your newsfeeds.
How to make dalgona coffee
Dalgona coffee is simple to make! Combine instant coffee with hot water and sugar. Whisk the coffee concoction in a bowl with a mixer (or by hand, it’s a workout!) for about 8 minutes.
If whisking by hand, it may take up to 10-12 minutes depending on your ability (where are my power whisk-ers?!)
When the beautiful, shiny, caramel toned coffee fluff is ready, place the whipped coffee fluff into a glass atop chilled or steamed milk using a spoon.
The dalgona coffee trend is so enjoyable because of the many different versions. Add some pumpkin or chai spice or even some cocoa or matcha powder! Possibilities are available, so experiment!
Maybe a peppermint mocha dalgona should be in the works for Christmas?
